![]() This examination is conducted twice a year. The INET is the recent admission process in the Indian Navy, for both men and women. Candidates who are married and over the age of 25, can apply, but candidates will not be provided married accommodation and nor can they live with their family during the training period. Candidates marrying after the date of application after successful completion of the SSB or medical test will not be eligible for training. Widows/Widowers or divorcee candidates, with or without encumbrances, below 25 years are not eligible. Those applying for Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch should be within the age of 20 to 26 years w.r.t., Matriculation/Higher Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate. Candidates that hold a valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) can apply till the age of 26 years. Candidates must be vaccinated with two doses. Both men and women must be unmarried and between the ages group of 20-24 years. The eligibility for AFCAT comprises the educational and physical requirements. Once the written test is qualified, the selected candidate is admitted to the Indian Air force Academy. The test encompasses Aptitude, English, Reasoning, and General Studies. The positions are for both technical and ground staff. ![]() The AFCAT test is also conducted twice a year by the Indian Air Force for both male and female candidates. The candidates are selected on their performance in the written and the interview after a holistic review. In the final assessment, a three-stage assessment is conducted, Interviewing Officer (IO), Group Testing Officer (GTO), and the Psychologist. Candidates with the active congenital venereal disease will not be allowed to apply. Candidates with a hernia, hearing impairments, disabilities, or deformity in the vestibule-cochlear system will not be eligible. Both mental and physical fitness is essential, If a candidate has a tattoo on their body they will not be permitted to appear for the exams. The eligibility includes physical standards as per the UPSC criterion. ![]() Unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for these examinations and the Services Selection Board (SSB) after an interview decides where the candidates will be placed. The notification of this exam is mostly released in October and June and the examination date falls around February and November. The merit list is displayed on the UPSC website. Once the written paper is cleared, the candidate is required to appear for the Services Selection Board (SSB) followed by a medical test. Different services have different cutout marks. The basic qualification required to qualify is basic English, General Studies, and Mathematics, for women English and General Studies are the qualifying papers as they only receive the officer's training. The UPSC conducts CDS exams twice a year for both men and women.
